Abstract: Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks have become increasingly sophisticated, generating large volumes of malicious traffic that disrupt network operations, cause financial losses, and erode user trust. Conventional security mechanisms often fail to keep pace with these evolving threats due to limitations in scalability, delayed detection, and inadequate pro-taction of user data. Moreover, centralized defence systems lack continuous verification, making them insufficient for today’s dynamic and decentralized environments. To overcome these challenges, this work introduces a Federated Zero Trust Multi-Agent Défense System, which unifies Federated Learning (FL), Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), and Blockchain Technology. In this approach, intelligent agents operate across distributed network nodes, employing FL to collaboratively train models on local data while maintaining privacy. The Zero Trust framework ensures that every entity undergoes continuous verification based on adaptive trust scores. Meanwhile, blockchain technology provides trans-parent and tamper-proof logging of system activities and security decisions, ensuring integrity and accountability throughout the network.
