Abstract: ABSTRACT INTERACTIVE AUGMENTED REALITY BASED MULTILINGUAL HERITAGE EXPLORATION SYSTEM AND METHOD An interactive augmented reality based multilingual heritage exploration system (100) and method thereof for enhancing visitor engagement at heritage sites. The system (100) comprises a mobile application module (110), an AR/VR rendering engine (120), a QR code recognition module (130), a multilingual content management system (140), an interactive map and navigation module (150), a gamification engine (160), a visual storytelling module (170), a ticket booking and user profile module (180), and a heritage content database server (190). The system (100) enables visitors to scan QR codes at monument points of interest to unlock animated historical reconstructions overlaid on real-world views, navigate the site using AR directional overlays, engage in treasure hunt games and quiz challenges, and receive all content in a preferred language. The invention transforms static heritage site information into an immersive, gamified, and multilingual exploration experience. [
