Abstract: The present invention relates to an interchangeable drip chamber retention assembly comprising a drip chamber (102), a replaceable chamber-retaining member (104), a guide-engaging mounting foot (106), opposed chamber-retaining arms (108), a clamp-receiving guide channel (110), an open insertion end (112), and a closed seating stop (114). The replaceable chamber-retaining member (104) is selectively introduced into the clamp-receiving guide channel (110) through the open insertion end (112), and the guide-engaging mounting foot (106) moves along the guide channel until reaching the closed seating stop (114). The opposed chamber-retaining arms (108) define a chamber-receiving profile for receiving and retaining the drip chamber (102). Different replaceable chamber-retaining members (104) having respective chamber-receiving profiles may be selectively installed to accommodate drip chambers (102) having different external dimensions or profiles. The chamber-retaining member (104) may have C-shaped, U-shaped, semi-circular, split- ring, open-loop, resilient clip, snap-fit, segmented, or polygonal configurations.
