Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A network node may transmit a message to configure a UE with one or more cross-link interference (CLI) measurement resources, and may use the resources to perform one or more measurements to measure CLI at an ambient link between the UE and an ambient Internet of Things (A-IoT) device. The UE may transmit a measurement report indicating the CLI measurements, and based on the measurements, the network node may schedule or adjust one or more communications involving the UE. In some examples, the UE may indicate a capability to measure CLI. A network node may also communicate ambient link resources with another network node. Additionally, alternatively, a UE and network node may exchange CLI measurement activation indications, and a UE may transmit an occasion activation message to an A-IoT device.
