Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence-based elephant crossing detection and early warning system (100) that comprises a user device (102), a multi-sensor detection unit (104), an AI vision camera unit (106), a processing unit (108), a communication unit (120), a location determination unit (122), an alert generation unit (124), a power management unit (126), a cloud server (128), and a database unit (130). The processing unit (108) acquires and processes sensing data and image data, performs multi-sensor fusion, identifies elephants using artificial intelligence, validates detection events, determines geographical locations, and predicts probable elephant crossing locations. Based on predicted crossing risk, the system generates prioritized warning notifications and transmits the notifications to authorized users through the communication unit (120). Event information and historical movement data are stored in the cloud server (128) and the database unit (130), enabling remote monitoring, historical analysis, reduced false alarms.
