Intramedullary nail assembly (100) further comprises front head (106) having conical end and threaded structure along with at least two expansion slots. At least two expansion slots are aligning with at least two sliding elements. Intramedullary nail assembly (100) further comprises inner rod (108) disposed within hollow cylindrical body and having external thread at rear end configured to mate with second thread. Inner rod (108) is pushed from second end towards expandable pin to cause expandable pin (104) to slide over at least two expansion slots, resulting in outward expansion of at least two sliding elements to secure intramedullary nail assembly (100) within a bone.
