Abstract: The InvenTrack Inventory Management and Sales Analysis System relates to a computer-based arrangement for maintaining product records, processing stock movements and presenting sales summaries through an authenticated web interface. The system connects a browser presentation layer to a Django application and a relational SQLitc database. Product, supplier, category and transaction records provide the principal data structure. A user maintains product names, prices, quantities, descriptions and supplier associations through validated forms. A sale checks the available quantity, deducts the accepted quantity and calculates its amount from the product price. Restocking increases the product balance, while a separate stock-update interface accepts signed corrections and rejects a change that would produce a negative balance. Transaction entries record the product, movement type, quantity, date, notes and creating user. The system classifies quantities from one to ten as low stock and zero quantity as out of stock. Search and category filters help locate products, and dashboard and report queries summarise inventory value, sales revenue, units sold and leading products. The web interface uses HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript to present the resulting forms, lists, indicators and summaries. Django session authentication restricts operational pages to authenticated accounts. The arrangement provides a common workflow for inventory record keeping and sales analysis. It supports review of shortages and recorded movements while reducing repeated manual calculations. Its modular structure provides scope for additional permission controls, report exports and improvements to concurrent stock processing.
