Abstract: ABSTRACT: Title: loT-based transformer monitoring system using microcontroller The present invention relates transformer monitoring and microcontroller for real-time to an Internet of Things (loT)-based smart protection system employing an ESP32 acquisition, processing, communication, and protection of transformer operating parameters. The system comprises a sensing layer including a ZMPTIOIB AC voltage sensor, ACS712 Hall-effect current sensor, DHTl 1 temperature and humidity sensor, and a step- down transformer for safe signal acquisition. An ESP32 microcontroller processes the sensed data and compares the values with predefined safety thresholds stored in firmware developed using Embedded C. The ESP32 further transmits operational data to a cloud-based Blynk loT platform through integrated Wi-Fi communication for remote monitoring via a smartphone application. A 16x2 12C LCD displays local parameter values, while a piezoelectric buzzer and relay module provide fault alerts and automatic load disconnection during abnormal operating conditions. The invention enhances transformer safety, reliability, efficiency, and preventive maintenance capability significantly.OF INFORMATION
