Abstract: The present invention discloses a cost-effective, AI-integrated moisture estimation system for large-scale wheat heaps using an ESP180 microcontroller and smart moisture sensor. Accurate moisture measurement in stored grains is critical to prevent fungal growth and structural breakage, especially in regions lacking affordable sensing technology. This invention addresses limitations of existing bulky and expensive moisture meters by combining compact hardware with intelligent analytics. The sensor embedded in the heap transmits real-time data to the ESP180, which processes the readings using an AI model trained for moisture classification. Alerts are generated if values exceed a defined threshold and are communicated via Bluetooth or GSM modules to users or cloud storage. The system also stores historical data locally for further analysis. This invention ensures continuous, wireless monitoring of grain moisture with reduced cost, higher accuracy, and remote accessibility, making it a suitable solution for farms, warehouses, and grain storage centers.
