Abstract: IOT and ML-based fire accident prevention system for electric vehicles using supercapacitors & thermogel cooling is the proposed invention. Electric Vehicles (EVs) are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional transportation but battery overheating and thermal runaway pose significant fire risks. This invention proposes an IoT and ML-based Fire Accident Prevention System for EVs, integrating temperature, voltage, and current sensors to continuously monitor battery health. An Arduino Uno processes real-time sensor data and runs a logistic regression machine learning model to detect abnormal temperature patterns, predicting potential thermal runaway. When the battery temperature crosses a critical threshold, the system automatically switches the EV's power source to supercapacitors, allowing the vehicle to travel a short distance to a safe parking zone.
