Abstract: An Internet of Things-based renewable energy adoption tracking system is disclosed. The system comprises energy-data acquisition devices associated with physical energy assets at one or more corporate facilities, a communication gateway, a device-authentication module, a data-normalisation engine, a renewable-energy classification engine, a reconciliation engine, an anomaly-detection engine, a data-lineage repository and a disclosure-output generator. Time-stamped energy measurements are authenticated, normalised and classified according to energy source. The classified measurements are reconciled with renewable-energy attribution records subject to temporal, geographic and quantity constraints. The system detects missing measurements, energy-balance inconsistencies, duplicate attribution and allocation exceeding measured consumption. Renewable-energy adoption values are generated together with traceable identifiers connecting the values to underlying physical measurements, processing operations and renewable-energy allocations. The system thereby provides technically verifiable renewable-energy usage information suitable for corporate ESG disclosures.
