Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-based smart flooring system for real-time intrusion detection and security alerts. The system comprises a smart flooring layer (100) embedded with a pressure sensor array (110) configured to detect force variations caused by physical interaction. The sensed signals are processed through a signal conditioning unit (120) and a microcontroller (130) executing threshold-based or adaptive decision logic. A communication module (140) transmits data to a cloud server (150) for storage and analysis, while an alert generation system (160) produces real-time notifications. The invention provides concealed, continuous, and accurate intrusion detection with reduced false alarms and low response time. The system is applicable in residential, commercial, and high-security environments, offering a technical advancement through integrated hardware-software architecture.
