Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-based smart furniture system for emotion detection and posture monitoring presents an intelligent seating solution designed to track and enhance both emotional and physical well-being in real time. The system equipped with IoT-enabled sensors, including heart rate and galvanic skin response (GSR) modules, as well as posture and accelerometer sensors, the chair captures key physiological and behavioral indicators. An ESP32 microcontroller processes this data and delivers immediate feedback through ambient RGB lighting, audio prompts, and optional mobile app notifications. The system encourages proper sitting posture, detects stress or fatigue, and provides non-intrusive guidance to the user. In cases of prolonged stress or abnormal readings, alerts can be sent to caregivers or guardians via cloud platforms.
