Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-based smart taste device (100)and flavour sensing device (110), including a wearable electrochemical taste sensing patch (111), configured to detect salivary biomarkers corresponding to taste categories including sweet, salty, bitter, sour, and umami. In some embodiments, the patch may include an array of micro-electrochemical sensors (112) for detecting taste-modulating compounds. Embodiments may also include a smart utensil (113) including integrated taste sensors (114). In some embodiments, the sensors may be adapted to analyze food compounds upon interaction with the user’s saliva and transmit real-time data regarding taste perception. Embodiments may also include a data processing module (115) including an AI-based preference analysis system (116). In some embodiments, the system may be configured to process real-time taste sensitivity data, detect variations in taste perception, and generate a dynamic taste profile.
