Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an IoT-enabled AI-driven fertilizer optimization system (100) for sustainable agriculture. The system comprises a distributed sensor network (102) including soil sensors (112) and environmental sensors (114) configured to collect real-time field data. An edge processing unit (104) performs local preprocessing and generates preliminary fertilizer recommendations using lightweight machine learning models. A cloud analytics engine (106) further processes the data using advanced machine learning algorithms to determine optimized fertilizer type and dosage. A decision support interface (108) provides actionable insights, alerts, and visualizations to users. A feedback module (110) continuously updates the machine learning models based on user inputs and crop outcomes. The hybrid edge-cloud architecture enables operation in low-connectivity environments while ensuring adaptive and precise fertilizer management, thereby improving crop yield, reducing input wastage, and promoting environmentally sustainable agricultural practices.
