Inventors include Mr. Parveen Kumar; Mr. Arun Kumar Maurya; Ayush Gupta; Aman Chauhan; and Akshay Bansal.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-enabled automatic sun tracking solar energy system with real-time monitoring (100) comprising a solar panel assembly (102), light sensing units (104), a microcontroller-based control unit (106), an actuation mechanism (108), an IoT communication module (110), a data acquisition subsystem (112), and a cloud-based monitoring platform (114). The system (100) dynamically aligns the solar panel assembly (102) with the direction of maximum solar irradiance based on signals received from the light sensing units (104), thereby enhancing energy generation efficiency. The control unit (106) processes sensor inputs and actuates the mechanism (108) for continuous tracking, while the communication module (110) transmits real-time performance data to the cloud platform (114) for remote monitoring and analysis. The invention provides improved energy output, automated operation, and efficient remote performance monitoring, thereby offering a scalable and intelligent solar energy solution.
