Abstract: This is an loT-based safety system that helps fishermen from crossing international borders. are defined already through microcontroller-based geofencing. When the boat is nearer to the restricted zones, the system generates early warnings, including audio, visual, vibration, and mobile notifications, helping fishermen to act immediately. It sends information about the boats' position to the central dashboard, which is monitored frequently. It also sends information about the vessel's location to the family members of the fishermen. The system combines communication methods like Wi-Fi and GSM to ensure connectivity in areas where there is poor network connection. The environmental sensors observe sea conditions, and data is sent to a central dashboard so that immediate actions can be taken. The system provides a cost effective and reliable solution for preventing border violations and unnecessary fatalities.
