Abstract: The present invention provides an IoT-enabled quality assessment and authentication device (100) for polyherbal Ayurvedic compounds. The device (100) comprises a portable sensing unit (110) housing a miniaturized near-infrared spectrometer module (112), a multi-parameter chemical sensor array (114), and an environmental sensor module (116). A microcontroller and processing unit (120) acquires and pre-processes sensor data and transmits it via a wireless communication module (122) to a cloud analytics platform (130). The cloud analytics platform (130) employs machine learning models trained on an Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia reference database (132) for real-time authentication, quality scoring, and adulteration detection. A mobile application interface (140) displays quality reports to operators. A blockchain-based traceability module (150) records each assessment event in a distributed ledger (152). The device enables rapid, non-destructive, on-site quality assessment integrating spectroscopy, multi-sensor fusion, and cloud analytics.
