Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-ENABLED SMART ROBOTIC ARM WITH DUAL-MODE GESTURE AND WEB-BASED CONTROL SYSTEM The present invention relates to an IoT-enabled smart robotic arm featuring dual- mode control using gesture recognition and a web-based dashboard interface. The system utilizes a dual ESP32 architecture, wherein a first ESP32 controller processes hand gesture inputs received from flex sensors integrated within a wearable glove, and a second ESP32 controller operates servo motors associated with a robotic arm assembly. Communication between the controllers is achieved through ESP-NOW protocol, enabling low-latency and internet-independent wireless operation. The robotic arm includes multiple degrees of freedom for performing industrial pick-and- place tasks, hazardous object handling, and educational robotic demonstrations. A web-based dashboard enables manual override, monitoring, and precision control of robotic movements. The invention provides a low-cost, lightweight, scalable, and intuitive automation solution suitable for industrial, educational, and remote operation environments.
