Abstract: An IoT-enabled system (100) for fruit freshness monitoring incorporates a microcontroller (102) that acquires, processes, and communicates sensing data from a plurality of sensors (104), encompassing gas sensor (104A), environmental sensor (104B), and temperature sensor (104C), to evaluate freshness, detect spoilage, and predict shelf-life. The processed information is presented to users in real time through a display module (106), while a communication interface (108) transmits data to external devices and a cloud logging interface (110) for remote storage, traceability, and historical monitoring. A power supply unit (112) ensures continuous operation of the microcontroller (102), plurality of sensors (104), and display module (106). The microcontroller (102) further comprises a data acquisition circuit (102A) for sensor calibration, signal conversion, and threshold-based evaluation. All components are housed within a housing assembly (114), designed to expose sensors (104) to the environment for reliable measurement while minimizing external interference.
