Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT powered smart tiffin for real-time food spoilage monitoring and detection. The IoT powered smart tiffin comprises various components such as walls of tiffin (110), lid of tiffin (120), biosensors (130), small battery and rechargeable battery (140), control unit (150) and LED indicator (160). The biosensors are integrated within the walls or lid of the tiffin box. These biosensors are capable of continuously evaluating the quality of the food in real time. The sensors are of multiple types like temperature, gas, humidity, and pH sensors. When food begins to spoil, the sensors detect the changes and send a signal to the control unit embedded within the tiffin. The control unit processes this signal and, when spoilage is detected, triggers an LED indicator light. The LED light will illuminate to inform the user that the food inside the tiffin is no longer safe to eat.
