Abstract: The present invention relates to an iron-enriched Wasta Haak nutraceutical composition for enhancing hemoglobin levels and supporting prevention or management of iron deficiency anemia. The composition comprises dried Wasta Haak powder, a microencapsulated iron source, a natural vitamin C-containing absorption enhancer, beetroot powder, and at least one natural stabilizer. The dried Wasta Haak powder is obtained from leaves of a Brassica species and provides phytochemicals, chlorophyll, folate, minerals, and antioxidants. The microencapsulated iron source may comprise ferrous bisglycinate, ferrous fumarate, or a combination thereof, and provides bioavailable iron with reduced metallic taste and improved stability. The natural vitamin C-containing absorption enhancer preferably comprises amla extract for improving intestinal iron absorption. Beetroot powder supports blood health and red blood cell production, while the natural stabilizer improves palatability and shelf life. The composition may be formulated as capsules, tablets, sachets, powders, instant drink mixes, fortified food supplements, or functional food products suitable for individuals requiring nutritional iron supplementation.
