MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527104828 A) filed by Unilever Global Ip Limited on October 30, 2025, for Lamellar Wash Composition With Reduced Palm Kernel Oil Reliance.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a lamellar wash composition having a reduced amount or no palm kernel oil derived lamellar structurant. The wash composition comprises anionic surfactant like a glycinate, glutamate, isethionate, taurate or mixtures thereof and a C16 -C20 lactylate. The composition is surprisingly stable and provides excellent sensory and lathering characteristics.
