Abstract: A laser-plasma interaction system for high-energy particle generation is disclosed. The system comprises a high-intensity laser source configured to generate laser pulses, a beam delivery subsystem for directing the laser pulses toward a plasma interaction region, a plasma generation chamber containing a controllable plasma medium, a plasma density control subsystem, a particle acceleration region, a particle detection subsystem, and an adaptive control processor. The adaptive control processor receives real-time measurements of plasma conditions and particle beam characteristics and dynamically adjusts laser pulse parameters, plasma density profiles, target positioning, and interaction conditions to optimize particle acceleration performance. The system facilitates efficient generation of high-energy electrons, protons, ions, and other charged particles through laser-induced plasma acceleration mechanisms, including laser wakefield acceleration and target-normal sheath acceleration. The invention provides improved particle energy, beam stability, acceleration efficiency, reduced energy spread, and enhanced particle yield for scientific, medical, industrial, and research applications.
