Abstract: A lateral flow immunoassay (LFIA) strip for detecting L1ORF1p biomarkers is disclosed. The strip comprises a sample pad disposed on a support substrate to receive the sample, a conjugate pad disposed adjacent to the sample pad and comprising gold nanoparticle- conjugated anti-hORF1R polyclonal antibody, a reaction membrane disposed downstream of the conjugate pad and comprising a test line and a control line, the test line comprising immobilized anti-hORF1m polyclonal antibody and the control line comprising immobilized goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L) antibody. A kit comprising the strip is also disclosed.
