MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411094232 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges on November 30, 2024, for Lathe Machine Transportation Device.

Abstract: A lathe machine transportation device comprises a rectangular base 101 having a four telescopic rods 102 with motorized tracked wheels 103 for a locomotion, a telescopic arm 104 by a ball and socket joint 105 to lift the machine, an elongated rigid cylindrical bar 106 to acquire a grip onto the base 101, an artificial intelligence- based imaging unit 107 with an ultrasonic sensor to determine a position and dimensions of the lathe machine, a pressure sensor detects a pressure applied by the user, a level sensor detects a level of the lathe, an angle sensor detects an angle of the telescopic arm 104 with respect to the base 101, a speaker 108 to generate an audio alert for the user, a microphone 109 for receiving an audio command for the transportation of the lathe machine, and a touch-enabled display unit 110 to provide touch input regarding transportation of lathe machine.
