Abstract: ABSTRACT LAYERED PANEL ARTICLES AND METHOD OF MAKING THEREOF Disclosed are layered panel articles (400, 500) and methods of making thereof. The layered panel articles comprise doors (500) and carcasses (400) prepared from layered panels (100). The layered panel (100) comprises a layer 105 made from metal with a honeycomb structure forming the core of the panel (100), and attached to layers 103 and 107 of metal on both sides thereof by applying layers 104 and 106 of adhesives. The layers 101 and 109 forming the top skin and bottom skin of the panel (100) respectively are attached to the layers 103 and 107 by applying layers 102 and 108 made of polyurethane epoxy adhesive. The doors (500) and carcasses (400) have top skin and the bottom skin of laminate, acrylic, Polyurethane (PU) paint or metallic paint, paper veneer, or tile or glass. The articles provide a lightweight, sturdy, recyclable, and sustainable alternative to conventional wooden articles. [
