Abstract: An advanced web application with agentic artificial intelligence (Al) capabilities, the Smart Legal Document Assistant in Risk Detection Agent is made to automatically recognize, evaluate, and reduce risky clauses in legal documents. By fusing autonomous task execution with intelligent clause detection, the system overcomes the drawbacks of conventional contract review tools and makes legal risk assessments quicker, more precise, and more reliable. The invention evaluates contractual material using a multi-layered analysis engine that combines rule-based logic, semantic similarity modeling, natural language processing, and regulatory pattern identification. Clauses pertaining to indemnity, liability, warranties, termination conditions, fines, confidentiality, intellectual property, payment terms, and other often disputed or high-risk areas are immediately highlighted by the system when a document is uploaded or pasted. To improve user comprehension, each flagged clause is annotated with a severity level, rationale, and straightforward explanation. To assess contractual text, the invention uses a multi-layered analysis engine that combines rulebased logic, natural language processing, semantic similarity modeling, and regulatory pattern recognition. Clauses pertaining to indemnity, liability, warranties, termination conditions, penalties, confidentiality, intellectual property, payment terms, and other frequently contested or high-risk areas are automatically highlighted by the system upon uploading or pasting a document.
