Abstract: A light emitting device comprising: a plurality of light emitting elements each having a first electrode and a second electrode, and emitting light in a first direction; a base having a plurality of wiring parts including a first element side wiring part, a second element side wiring part, a third element side wiring part, and a first power supply side wiring part, a second power supply side wiring part, and a third power supply side wiring part that are electrically connected to these element side wiring parts, on which the plurality of light emitting elements are lined up in the second direction; and a plurality of wires including a first wire and a second wire electrically connected to the light emitting elements on the first electrode side, and a third wire electrically connected to the light emitting elements on the second electrode side, wherein the first element side wiring part and the second element side wiring part are positioned apart from the light emitting elements in the positive second direction, the third element side wiring part is positioned apart from the light emitting elements in the negative second direction, and the first wire, the second wire, and the third wire are bonded to the first element side wiring part, the second element side wiring part, and the third element side wiring part.
