Abstract: The present invention relates to a light-emitting device. The light-emitting device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a substrate, a light- emitting layer, a wavelength conversion layer, and a barrier layer. The light-emitting layer may be disposed on the substrate and include an emission surface through which light is emitted. The wavelength conversion layer may be disposed on the light-emitting layer. The barrier layer may be formed on the substrate to cover the side surfaces of the light-emitting layer and the wavelength conversion layer, and reflect light of the light-emitting layer. The emission surface of the light-emitting layer may include a first emission area and a second emission area having lower luminance than the first emission area. A thickness of a portion of the barrier layer, which surrounds the second emission area, may be greater than a thickness of a portion of the barrier layer, which surrounds the first emission area. In addition, the thickness of the barrier layer may be a distance from the inner surface to the outer surface of the barrier layer.
