Abstract: A light emitting display device includes: a substrate (110), a plurality of anodes located on the substrate (110); a pixel defining layer (380) defining a plurality of first openings (OPr, OPg, OPb) overlapping the plurality of anodes, respectively; a plurality of light emitting layers (EML) located within the plurality of first openings (OPr, OPg, OPb) of the pixel defining layer (380), respectively; a cathode disposed on the plurality of light emitting layers (EML) and the pixel defining layer (380); an encapsulation layer (400) located on the cathode; and a plurality of color filters (230R, 230G, 230B) corresponding to different colors and located on the encapsulation layer (400). The plurality of color filters (230R, 230G, 230B) define a plurality of second openings (OPCFr, OPCFg, OPCFb) in each of which only one color filter of the color filters is located, and include a light blocking area (BA) in which at least two color filters of the color filters are overlapped in a plan view, and the first opening (OP) or the second opening (OPCF) has an oval shape.
