Abstract: Provided is a small-sized light radiation device having heat-dissipation properties and electrically-insulating properties. The light radiation device comprises: a light-emitting element that emits light having a prescribed wavelength; a support body on which the light-emitting element is mounted; an insulated wire that is electrically connected to the light-emitting element; a case that accommodates the light-emitting element, a connecting portion that connects the insulated wire and the light-emitting element, and a portion of the support body; and an insulating seal material that seals the light-emitting element, said portion of the support body, and said connecting portion, inside the case. Another portion of the support body protrudes from the seal material to the outside of the case.
