MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641127050 A) filed by Bapatla Surendra; and Irukumalli Priyanka on October 25, 2026, for Liquid Tank With Sealed Cells And Sump-Terminated Vent Conduits For Unmanned Aerial Spraying Vehicles.

Inventors include Bapatla Surendra Babu; and Irukumalli Priyanka.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: LIQUID TANK WITH SEALED CELLS AND SUMP-TERMINATED VENT CONDUITS FOR UNMANNED AERIAL SPRAYING VEHICLES A spray tank (100) for an unmanned aerial vehicle is divided by internal walls (106) into sealed cells (112, 114, 116, 118) grouped into stages of point-symmetric pairs about the tank axis (108) and joined by sump transfer ports (210) into two mirror chains (122, 124) ending at a pump inlet (128). A later cell receives air only through a vent conduit (218) running from its ceiling to an outlet (226) 1 mm to 6 mm above the bottom of the sump (206) of the preceding cell, whose floor (204) faces are inclined at 35 degrees to 55 degrees. The outlet stays covered under a lateral specific force of 0.5 g until the preceding cell is practically empty, so only one pair of cells has a free surface. The predicted sloshing mass falls by a factor of 8 to 16, and steps in pump-inlet pressure identify the stage being emptied. FIG. 1
