Abstract: The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery comprising: a cathode comprising a cathode active material layer including a single particle-type cathode active material, a cathode conductive material, a cathode binder and a cathode dispersant; an anode; and an electrolyte, wherein: the anode comprises a first anode active material layer and a second anode active material layer formed on the first anode active material layer, each of the first anode active material and the second anode active material independently including natural graphite, artificial graphite or a combination thereof; the ratio of the amount of a first anode binder to the amount of a second anode binder is 1.5-3.0; the difference in porosity between the cathode and the anode is 4.2-9.8%; and the FBR of the cathode, which is associated with the amounts and true density values of each of the binder and dispersant and the average particle diameter of the cathode active material, is 30-180.
