Abstract: ABSTRACT LITSEA CUBEBA-DERIVED PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION The present invention relates to a Litsea cubeba-derived pharmaceutical composition comprising an essential oil fraction, an extract fraction, and a bioactive compound group derived from one or more plant portions of Litsea cubeba. The plant portions comprise fruit, leaf, bark, root, stem, and flower. The bioactive compound group comprises at least one compound class selected from alkaloids, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, diterpenes, flavonoids, amides, lignans, steroids, and fatty acids. The essential oil fraction may be obtained through plant material collection, plant-part selection, plant material preparation, extraction, steam distillation, separation, and essential oil collection. The composition is associated with pharmacological activity profiles comprising antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidiabetic, anticancer, anti-HIV, digestive health, respiratory health, and skin-related activities.
