Abstract: The invention relates to a loading platform (2) for a vehicle or car transporter lorry (1), comprising two longitudinal members (2a) mechanically connected to one another by at least one transverse element, at least two sets of fixed decking (10) extending along the longitudinal members (2a) to form lanes allowing the wheels (23a, 23b) of a car (23) to roll on said loading platform (2), the lanes comprising at least two facing receiving recesses (12) in which the wheels (13a, 23b) of the same axle partially engage and are wedged in the transport position. According to the invention, each recess (12) is associated with several recess wedges (13) mounted transversely on the loading platform (13) in order to partially obstruct access to the recess (12), the recess wedges (13) being movable between different positions on the loading platform (2).
