This matrix is responsive to environmental triggers such as moisture or pH changes, allowing for controlled release at the target site. The invention further comprises a delivery system, which may include mechanical devices, drones, or manual applicators, configured to transport and release the encapsulated spores precisely at the site of infection within the plant, ensuring minimal impact on non-target organisms. The delivery method penetrates plant tissues to deposit spores effectively, enhancing biocontrol against plant pathogens.
