Abstract: ABSTRACT LOCKING SYSTEM FOR COVER OF LOAD BODIES A locking system (104) for a cover of a load body (102) is disclosed. The locking system (104) includes a crossbar (302) coupled to a pair of pivot arms (304a and 304b). The pair of pivot arms (304a and 304b) is pivoted to a frame (106) of the cover and adjoined to a chain (414a and 414b) extending from the frame (106). Further, the crossbar (302) and the pair of pivot arms (304a and 304b) may be configured to rotate in unison about the frame (106) based on an extension of the chain (414a and 414b) when the frame (106) is extended after a deployment of the cover on the load body (102).
