MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541007325 A) filed by Kari Healing Private Limited on January 29, 2025, for Low Level Laser Treatment Device Comprising An Inertial Measurement Unit, And Methods Therefor.
Inventors include Mr. Jegadeesh Thampi; Mr. Kapil Tyagi; and Mr. Sagar Saravanan.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: [0051] In one aspect, the invention provides a low-level laser light (LLLT) device that comprises an inertial measurement unit (IMU), wherein the IMU comprises at least one three-axis accelerometer and at least one three-axis gyroscope. The accelerometer and the gyroscope are used to obtain an initial coordinates for an initial position at the beginning of a treatment session. Then, instant coordinates are measured by the accelerometer and the gyroscope at regular intervals. The instant coordinates are compared with the initial coordinates. If they differ at all, or beyond a predetermined threshold, the laser is turned off. The invention also provides methods for operating the LLLT device, and systems that comprise a controller unit and a memory as well as other electronic circuitry that can be used to execute program code that follow the method of the invention
