Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] To provide a lower structure for an electric vehicle that can deform a front part of the electric vehicle in an intended deformation mode and effectively absorb impact energy when an impact load acts on the front part. [Solution] The lower structure for the electric vehicle includes front side members 10 arranged on opposite sides frontward from a dash panel, each side member 10 including a front inner member 11 including an impact absorbing section and extending in a vehicle front-rear direction, a rear inner member being joined to a rear end of the front inner member 11 and extending rearward from the rear end, and an inner curved member 14; a lower crossmember 40 disposed frontward from a floor panel 53 and joined to the inner curved member 14; and a reinforcement panel 18 being joined to a front end of the floor panel and extending forward from the front end, the reinforcement panel 18 being joined to the inner curved member 14 and the lower crossmember 40.
