Abstract: The present invention relates to: a lubricating oil composition; a motorcycle having a manual transmission filled with said lubricating oil composition; and a method for using said lubricating oil composition. There is a need to improve the gear shift feeling for motorcycle users (riders). The gear shift feeling for motorcycle users (riders) can be improved by using this lubricating oil composition which contains a base oil (A) and a molybdenum compound (B) (excluding compounds having a dithiocarbamate structure (-N-C(=S)-S-) or a dithiophosphate structure (-P(=S)-S-) in the molecule), and in which the content of the molybdenum compound (B) is not less than 100 ppm by mass and less than 500 ppm by mass in terms of molybdenum atoms relative to the total amount of the lubricating oil composition.
