The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT LUGGAGE BAG WITH INTEGRATED PASSIVE SELF-CLEANING WHEEL SYSTEM The present invention discloses a luggage wheel assembly (100) equipped with a passive self-cleaning mechanism. The assembly comprises a thermoplastic polyurethane wheel (110) mounted on an axle (111) within a support bracket (120), a platinum-cured silicone scraper ring (130) positioned in continuous radial contact with the wheel tread, a PTFE-lined debris-collection channel (140) disposed circumferentially behind the scraper ring (130), a gravity-drain outlet (150) fitted with a stainless-steel mesh filter at the lowest point of the channel (140), and a sealed ABS-polycarbonate protective housing (160). During rolling, the scraper ring (130) continuously dislodges dirt, mud, and moisture from the wheel surface. Dislodged debris is captured in the channel (140) and expelled automatically through the drain outlet (150) by gravity and vibration. The system operates entirely mechanically without electrical power, ensuring clean, durable, and maintenance-free luggage wheels suitable for integration into new luggage or retrofit onto existing models.
