MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541099897 A) filed by Sophrosyne Technologies Private Limited on October 16, 2025, for Machine-Learning-Based Adaptive Beamforming System For Wireless Power Transfer.

Inventors include Manish Srivastava; and Dinesh Raosaheb Gawade.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT MACHINE-LEARNING-BASED ADAPTIVE BEAMFORMING SYSTEM FOR WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER A wireless power transfer system (10) for wearable and implantable medical devices is disclosed. The system comprises a transmitter unit (100) having an (M x N) phased-array antenna (106), a receiver unit (200), and a beamforming controller (300). The beamforming controller (300) is configured to obtain target direction information and exclusion direction information, generate a spatial mask defining desired beam regions, null regions, and radiation constraints, and process the spatial mask using a trained machine- learning model to determine antenna-element settings. The controller evaluates candidate settings based on corresponding radiation patterns and deviation scores, and selects settings for controlling the phased-array antenna (106). The settings may comprise amplitude and phase values for respective antenna elements. The system facilitates adaptive beam steering, null generation, and consideration of radiation-exposure constraints during wireless power transfer. FIG. 1B
