Inventors include Dr. M. A. Raja; Mr. J. Saliq Hussain; Mr. C. Shenbagamoorthy; Mr. P. S Srihariharan; and Ms. V. Subeksha.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: This project presents a machine learning-based system for the early prediction of Parkinson’s Disease using IMUors ansedn EsEG signals. The system captures motor symptoms such as tremors and gait patterns along with brain activity data. The collected data is preprocessed to remove noise and extract important features. Key features include tremor frequency, acceleration variance, gait characteristics, and EEG band power. These features are used to train machine learning models like Support Vector Machine and Random Forest. The system classifies individuals into healthy, early-stage, and advanced Parkinson’s conditionsh. e Tproposed method is non-invasive, portable, and cost-effective for real-time monitoring. This approach improves prediction accuracy and supports early diagnosis and healthcare applications
