The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a real-time network traffic monitoring and intrusion detection system utilizing a unified hybrid architecture. The system captures live network packets, aggregates them to create two-way flows, and analyzes them to extract highdimensional statistical features for accurate traffic characterization. To detect cyber threats, the system employs a hybrid detection mechanism comprising deterministic signatures for well- known threats, supervised learning-based classification, and adaptive anomaly detection to identify unknown threats. In addition, the system features a real-time alarm generation mechanism that includes severity level assessment, a multi-channel notification system, and persistent data storage capabilities to aid in further analysis. Moreover, the system concurrently monitors network performance parameters, including bandwidth usage and congestion, thereby providing additional context and comprehensive situational awareness.
