MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641118559 A) filed by Vishnu Institute Of Technology on October 04, 2026, for Machine Learning Enabled Adaptive Electric Vehicle Charging Control System.

Inventors include Mrs. G Diana Kamal; and Dr. Ch Venkata S S P Kuamr.

The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a machine-learning enabled adaptive electric vehicle charging system for controlling charging power or current based on vehicle, charger, and grid conditions. The system acquires vehicle battery information, charger measurements, and grid or transformer measurements through an IoT charging controller. A machine-learning prediction engine predicts vehicle energy requirement, charging-site demand, electrical or thermal headroom, and battery charging response with associated confidence or uncertainty. A charging constraint engine constructs a bounded operating envelope incorporating vehicle, charger, feeder, transformer, voltage, thermal, battery, and user-energy constraints. A charging interface applies a charging command within the envelope, while rate limiting and fallback control maintain stable and safe operation during changing conditions.
