MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641084897 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on July 10, 2026, for Machine Learning Guided Adaptive Rf Communication System With Dynamic Fft And Multiplier Reconfiguration.
Inventors include Sumathi; Soham; and A S Rassel.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an adaptive radio frequency communication system (100) comprising a transceiver (102), a microprocessor unit (106), a power source (104), and a display interface (108). The transceiver (102) receives a radio frequency signal and generates digitized signal samples. The microprocessor unit (106) determines signal quality parameters comprising signal power, signal-to-noise ratio, and received signal strength indication, and classifies the received signal into signal strength categories. Based on the classification, the microprocessor unit (106) dynamically selects a multiplier architecture and a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) configuration prior to machine learning processing. Frequency-domain transformation is performed using the selected configuration, followed by extraction of spectral features and machine learning-based signal classification. The system further comprises a feedback control loop configured to continuously update signal processing parameters according to subsequently determined signal quality conditions.
