Abstract: ABSTRACT [0016] The present invention relates to a machine learning optimized high-efficiency hydrogen fuel cell system with integrated thermal management specifically designed for electric vehicles. The system combines a proton exchange membrane fuel cell stack with a multi-loop coolant circuit, adaptive heat exchangers, and a dedicated machine learning controller that continuously predicts and adjusts operating parameters to maintain peak electrochemical efficiency while stabilizing stack temperature within a narrow optimal window. By fusing real-time sensor data on temperature, pressure, humidity, load demand, and ambient conditions with a hybrid predictive model, the controller dynamically modulates coolant flow rates, air stoichiometry, hydrogen supply pressure, and waste-heat recovery valves. This coordinated action reduces parasitic losses from cooling fans and pumps, improves hydrogen utilization, extends membrane lifetime, and delivers higher net power output under varying driving conditions. The resulting architecture achieves superior energy conversion efficiency and thermal uniformity compared with conventional fixed-rule or single-loop systems, making it particularly suitable for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and range-extended electric platforms that require both high power density and long-term durability.
