Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a UE, a network entity, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable medium for managing (e.g., transmitting, receiving, outputting, obtaining, identifying) an indication for sensing in a wireless communications system. In the solution, a UE may receive an indication of whether to use downlink information or uplink information for sensing; and perform sensing based at least in part on the received indication indicating to use the downlink information for sensing or transmit the uplink information to the network entity based at least in part on the received indication indicating to use the uplink information for sensing. In this way, a UE may be aware of information used for sensing, and thereby improving a sensing performance by the UE.
