The system (100) includes a data aggregator (102) to obtain transaction records of a user from at least one of: emails and text messages associated with the user and a user preference analyser (104) to extract information associated with one or more resources acquired by the user, from on the obtained transaction records and to generate observations regarding user’s resource preferences based on the extracted information associated with the one or more resources acquired by the user. The system (100) also includes a recommendation module (106) to determine one or more resources to be of interest to the user based on the generated observations regarding the user’s resource preferences and to recommend the determined one or more resources of interest to the user via one or more content communication channels (110).
